This application is for commercial or residential construction permits. Please complete all information or application may not be accepted.

Apply for a Land Disturbance Permit

Land Disturbance Permit

This application is required for any applicant wishing to conduct land disturbing activity. Upon submittal, you will be routed for review to agencies outside the City of Dunwoody, including, but not limited to, DeKalb County Water & Sewer and the Georgia Soil & Water Conservation Commission.

Apply for a Sign Permit

Sign Permit

This application is for permanent signs. All sign permit applications are not considered received by the department until the Community Development Director deems the application to be complete and accurate. Failure to submit this document in full and signed will result in an immediate denial of the application.

Apply for a Temporary Sign Permit

Temporary Sign Permit

This application must be submitted for all banners and temporary signs exceeding 16 square feet in area. Signs smaller than this are considered "Standard Information Signs" and do not require a permit. PLEASE NOTE that temporary signs may not exceed 24 square feet in area. ALL temporary signs must completely OUT OF THE RIGHT-OF-WAY.

Apply for a Tree Removal Permit

Tree Removal Permit

The tree removal permit is established for tree removal occurring outside of a land development permit or substantial building permit on non-residential, mixed-use, and multi-family zoned lots. A tree removal permit is required for the removal of: (1) Any hardwood with a diameter at breast height (DBH) of ten inches or greater; (2) Softwoods with a DBH of 20 inches or greater; and/or (3) Understory with a DBH of six inches or greater.
